What is a target market?
Your target market is the group of people considered most likely to buy your particular product or service.
An elderly gentleman in a wheelchair is not likely to purchase a sports car. Someone who is lactose intolerant is not going to buy milk. People who live in Florida aren't likely to need snow shovels.
BUT...
Redheads will always need suntan lotion. Birdwatchers want binoculars, books about birds, and suntan lotion. Surfers need surfboards, wetsuits, and (you guessed it) suntan lotion.
Your market could be huge! It pays to do some research on this subject.
Line up 10 people and take a good look at them. You might think they have nothing in common. Now look at their feet. Are they all wearing shoes?
You get the point. Make a list of your potential customers. Constantly try to identify new candidates. This will help you design your ad campaigns.
