What is a text link?

A text link, also called a hyperlink, is any in text advertising link that leads the reader somewhere else.

text link-Wikipedia contributors, "Hypertext," Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia,

These links are made to stand out from the crowd!

Hyperlinks are usually blue. This is done so they will stand out from the rest of the text. They don't always lead to an advertisement. We use them all over this site to lead you to the various definitions and explanations.

A link ad can be as small as one line or as big as a whole page of text. The size varies according to where you plan on placing your advertising.

A good example is article marketing. A well written article can be over 500 words. But, if it contains a backlink to your website (and it should), it is an advertisement! It is saying "Hey, look at me! If you enjoyed this you should see my website!".
